Phone Verification Problems
Why didn't I receive a phone call?
This can occur if your phone line was busy or congested. Also, ensure that you do
not have any phone call screening services that may block our call; if you do have
a call screening service or anonymous call blocking through your telephone provider,
you may have to disable the service temporarily in order to receive our call.
If you are using a dial-up internet service, make sure you disconnect from the internet
immediately after you click the call button. Also, choose the 'Call me in 2 mins'
option, not the 'Call me now' option.
Make sure that the phone number we are trying to call is correct. Choose the correct
State and Area Code and then enter your phone number without the area code or spaces.
The Phone Verification service is automated and will only call Australian land line
phone numbers. It will not call VOIP, Internet or Mobile phone services.
Can I request another call?
The first attempt for Phone Verification is FREE, however, additional attempts will
cost $1.00 each.
