Placing a Bid, Purchasing with BuyNow or Make An Offer
Before placing a bid, purchasing an item or making an offer you must be a registered
user.
Placing a bid
Placing a bid on quicksales is simple.
- Click the Place Bid button on the item page
- Enter your maximum bid
- Agree to the bidding conditions
- Press the Confirm bid button
The bidding system is based on increments. The bid increment is set by the seller.
Your bid must be higher or equal to the start price or the minimum next bid amount.
quicksales has an 'Auto-Bidding' system for your convenience. You don't need to set
anything up, the system is already in place and allows you to enter your maximum
bid amount, quicksales will then bid on your behalf up to your maximum.
To learn more about 'Auto-Bidding', please click here.
At the end of the auction, quicksales will send you an email indicating if you won the
item. If you won the item, the email will include the final price, payment methods
and the seller's email address. It also contains a link to Proceed to Checkout.
Bidding on multiple items in an auction listing (Multi-Item Auction)
Multi-Item Auction listings allow a seller to offer two or more identical items
in one auction listing. This means the auction can have more than one winner.
When you place a bid on a Multi-Item Auction, you will specify how many items you
wish to buy and the maximum price you wish to pay per item.
Winning bids are selected in order of bid amount followed by in order of earliest
bid time. For example a bid of $20 for 10 items takes priority over a bid of $18
for 20 items. If two bids have the same amount per item, the earliest bid takes
priority.
More Information
Important information for buyers:
When you place a bid on a Multi-Item Auction you will need to specify how many items
you wish to buy and the maximum price you wish to pay per item. The highest bidder
of a Multi-Item Auction will be allocated the original item number, subsequent winners
will each be allocated a new item number (a BuyNow item with the Price and Qty won).
Winning bidders cannot withdraw from the transaction if they did not win their desired
quantity, so only bid if you are willing to complete the transaction regardless
of the quantity you actually end up winning.
Changing your maximum bid
You can change your maximum bid if you are the only bidder. Go back to the Place
a Bid page and enter your new maximum bid. Note: You cannot change your maximum
bid to less than your current bid amount.

bid. If you want to withdraw a bid, please contact the seller as soon as possible
and explain the reason why you want to withdraw your bid ask them if they will reject
it for you.
