Using Tags on your listings
Tags allow you to provide additional details when creating a listing, to assist
prospective buyers with making clear, informed decisions when deciding to purchase
an item.
Example: When you list an item of clothing, you may incorporate particular details
(Tags) such as: Type, Brand, Colour, Size, Material etc. This will allow buyers
to be able to narrow their search results using this additional data (Tags) and
in turn view a more specific item description, therefore enabling the buyer to make
an informed decision at the purchasing stage.
Benefits of entering Tags
When including the use of Tags within your listing, you are possibly eliminating
the need for your prospective buyer to ask certain questions, as the answers to
those questions may now be readily available.
We encourage you to select as many Tags as possible, so that your item is accurately
described and readily available through narrowed search results.
Example: When you incorporate the Tag Colour into your listing and a member narrows
their search result by selecting your colour, your item will appear in the narrowed
search results due to the Colour Tag you previously selected.
We understand that your time is valuable; by using Tags in your listing(s), you
can eliminate the need to include these details in the description and have more
time on your hands to list more items and get more sales.
On the item detail page, prospective buyers will be easily able to view the Tags
due to the clear format displayed.
