60 Day Listing Period

What is the 60 day Listing Period?
All new listings on quicksales are subject to a 60 day listing period. During the first 60 days the listing can be relisted until sold or cancelled, for free.

What happens after 60 days?
After the 60 day listing period is up, the listing will end as unsold. You can see unsold listings in your Unsold list. The 60 day period is calculated by the start date of the listing. Depending on the listing format, some listings will actually run for longer than 60 days, see below.

  • Auction and BuyNow listing formats - The listing will continue to run until the end of it's current duration. For example: If the listing has 4 days left when it becomes 60 days old, the listing will continue for 4 more days, it will not end on exactly 60 days.

  • Classified listing formats - Classified listings have a duration of 45 days, so if the listing is relisted before 60 days, the listing can be listed for a further 45 days.

What will happen to the end time if I edit an existing listing?
If you edit the duration of an existing Auction or Auction with BuyNow listing, the new duration will not take affect until it is relisted. This is to prevent potential buyers coming back to make a bid only to find out the end time has changed.

How does the Auto-Relist feature work?
Auto-Relist is a feature that can be selected when you create a listing. The listing will be automatically relisted if not sold during the 60 day listing period. Auto-Relist is turned off after an item has been listed for 60 days. The item will then be moved to your Unsold list the next time it ends, where you can relist it for free.

Can I relist an item from my Unsold list if the start date is more than 60 days ago?
you can relist the item for free. Once you relist an 'OLD' listing (older than 60 days) from your Unsold list we will reset the start date to the current date which will allow the listing to be listed for a further 60 days for free.
