How to avoid infringing someone's copyright, trade mark or other right.
You must not list items on quicksales where the advertising or sale of that item would
infringe a third party's intellectual property rights. In listing your item, only
use your own text, wording, pictures, photos and designs. To avoid infringing copyright
do not copy material (including text, pictures, photographs etc) from others. Only
use material that you have created yourself or the copyright in which you own or
have the licence to use from the copyright owner. Do not link to unauthorised pictures
or copied pictures without prior written consent from the copyright owner.
Reporting items that infringe someone's IP.
We reserve the right to remove items from the site if they are in breach of any
of our policies. Please see our prohibited
items list.
quicksales does not warrant to you that it will monitor the Site to determine whether
any material posted by members infringes any said party rights. If you are an intellectual
property rights owner and you believe a user of the Site has infringed your intellectual
property rights, we ask that you communicate with the seller first as most disputes
can be solved by direct communication.
Any company or individual or their authorised representative that holds registered
intellectual property (IP) rights can report any listings that infringe their IP
to quicksales by sending us a copy of the registered IP documentation and the listings
will be removed.
In the case of text and image copyright infringements we require a signed letter
confirming that you are the owner of the relevant copyright, that you believe in
good faith that the use complained of is not authorised by you and infringes your
intellectual property rights. These documents can be scanned and
emailed (notify us first) or faxed to 03 9093 8796.
