You can create a seller's account by providing one of the following forms of Photo
Identification (Photo ID).
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- Adult Keypass - www.keypass.com.au
- Photo ID from state driving licence issuer
Step 1
Get a certified copy of your Photo ID.
A certified copy is one that has been verified to be a true copy by an approved
witness (see below) after sighting the original and making sure the person is the
Photo ID holder.
The person certifying the photocopy must sight the original and make sure the photo
is of you and include the following details.
- Stamp or write “This is a true copy of the document sighted by me”
- Signature and date
- Contact details (name, address and telephone no.)
- The official stamp or seal of their organisation or their profession and organisation
name.
We will accept a photocopy certified by the following:
- a magistrate, barrister, solicitor or patent attorney
- a commissioner for declarations or notary public
- an Australian diplomatic or consular officer
- a Justice of the Peace
- a member of parliament
- an officer or warrant officer of the Australian Defence Force (with 5 years continuous
service)
- a civil marriage celebrant
- a medical practitioner
- a police officer in charge of a police station, or of the rank of sergeant and above
- a bank manager
- a postal manager
- a pharmacist
- a principal of an Australian secondary college, high school or primary school
Step 2
Submit the certified copy of your Photo ID along with your User ID and name to:

Note: We must sight a 'certified copy' of your photo verification for security
reasons. It must be stamped and signed by the appropriate professional. A fax or
email is not acceptable as the document can easily be tampered with.
