wraping a photo frame ready to be sent to the UK
Not sure if this is in the right place.

I am putting a photo in a nice photo frame for a family member that is coming out from the UK in February and was wondering how do I wrap this up for them ready to take back with them to the UK so it doesn't break.

Thanks

Tanja

I would suggest bubble wrap, then corrugated cardboard, or place in close fitting box so there is no movement, then more bubble wrap. Marian

When I bought some over from UK > Australia - apart from the bubblewrap I actually 'wrapped' them in clothes, tops , cardies or whatever, & then put in the middle of my suitcase, with plenty of clothes under & over for extra protection. All was well ! Pauline :)
Could also take as 'hand luggage', if not to heavy / bulky.
( I think the limit for travelling is about 20kg altogether depending on airline! )
How many times have I gone over weight after a holiday ?(sigh) To easy to do LOL.

I usually use clothes for wrapping breakables when travelling to and from UK, have not had anything broken yet, just make sure they are in the middle of the case or in your hand luggage.
