Wii gaming consoles are region locked... which means that a PAL console will only play a PAL game... and an NTSC console will only play an NTSC game.

So to answer your question... as long as the game format matches that of the gaming console... there is no reason why the game wouldn't work.

In general, the following applies;

PAL is for the following areas:
•Asia
•Africa
•South America
•Australia
•New Zealand
•Most of Western Europe

NTSC is for the following areas:
•Americas
•Japan
•South Korea
•Taiwan
•Burma
•Some Pacific island nations

There are ways to unlock your console... and make it a multi-region unit... but I won't go into details... as the legality of such means, is at the best, questionable.

You will find plenty of info available via google (just search wii+region)... most notably, a Whirlpool discussion... and an eBay guide.

I hope this helps

Hey
Like what was said before, the game region needs to be PAL. I buy all my wii games from the US and UK so i think it will work. Love the wii!!!
