Why did I bother
Gee I must love wasting time, I spent the whole afternoon downloading express lister and trying to get it working, finally succeeded, uploaded my listings and started to sort them into folders to make things easier for myself, right in the middle of doing that it stopped working and shut down grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
In the time I have wasted today I could have relisted most of my items.
I coud kick myself, EL is no more user friendly in my opinion than the first version was.
Had my gripe

It's a bummer when it won't co-operate but I couldn't do without it . Luckily ( touches anything wood
) EL has never played up for me , except once when I had changed passwords I couldn't work out why I couldn't log in ...........duh.

isabella i know it works fine for a lot of people and I would love to use it but I have downloade several versions right from the start and never had any luck with it.
Actually thought I was winning this time, downloaded all my listings and was sorting them in to folders to match what I do on my spreadsheet which would make my work easier but only got about 100 done when it threw a hissy fit and shut down on me.
I certainly would not trust it to save my listings in, I think my method is much safer.

I have had nothing but grief from EL for over a week.
I have done everything suggested but it still wont let me start new listings let alone do anything else.
I have spent the whole day manually listing items individually via the Sell tab :(
Not happy!!

I find it does not take that long to manually list items if you use copy and paste a lot, it sure saves time.
I have not attempted to do lisitings in EL yet, it wont stay loaded long enough for me to do anything, I work on it for about 5 minutes and it closes down so I would not risk trying to list there.
I opened a gmail account just for my listings and request an email for each new listing then when the email comes I forward it to my gmail account, that way if anything disappears I just need to load the listing from gmail and all the info is there ready to be pasted into a new listing, that system works well for me.

Hi Ellen, I know just what you mean. I had the same problem a few years ago, and have never used it since
As you say, fine for some but I'm not one of them LOL

I have contacted admin, could not post the pics of the error messages so sent a link to this thread but with my previous experiences with EL I am not holding much hope of it working.
Its really amazing how it works well for some yet others have major problems with it.

When I had problems I spent ages back & forth to Admin I lost 1000 listings TWICE LOL that was enough for me
Admin were great dont get me wrong, but it just would not behave
Much prefer to list manually and know where my listings are :)

With all the problems everyone is having with express lister try disconnecting the internet and do all your listings in express lister OFF line. Make sure you save everything then go back on line then just upload and you can't loose anything. The only thing you can't do off line is add photos to the description. I just do that once I go back on line and I have never had any problems.

That's the only thing I do find useful with EL. It's quicker to upload the photos. But then mine are in my files so I can work offline but go on just to upload.

I am permanently online so being able to work offline does not interest me, I contacted admin on Thursday and have had no response so will just uninstall EL and forget it, its just not worth the hassle.

well I'm about to list some stuff for the first time in weeks (not this ID) so if it's not working someone head me off now or you'll all be punished by my novel of swearing and name calling of the program later on. See, pro-active forum use. Just say nooo Remayne step away from the program for tonight and it will save all of us much pain and heart ache in the long run.

Try this then reboot your computer. let me know how you go I am on a WIN 7 64 bit SYS myself
If you are, it seems the following file:
mshtml.dll
is missing or corrupted in EL folder during the installation. To fix it can you please copy the file from C:\Windows\System32\mshtml.dll and paste to C:\ProgramData\OZtion\OZtion Express Lister 2\ if you are using Windows 7 or Vista or paste to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OZtion\OZtion Express Lister 2\ if you are using Windows XP. In the mean time we will check the setup file to see why you get this error.
