Whats your best 3 beauty tips you would love to pass on?
Mine well I have so many but ones that come to mind at this late hour.

when using your facial scrub twice-3 times a week dont just do your face but your neck and decolletagetoo  aswell as the tops of your hands, ladies with short hair do the back of the neck too, well actually even if you dont have short hair.

Spray perfume in your hairbrush and run it through the back of your hair specially if you have long hair.

If you are going to an event and getting glammed up and want to wear a darker lipstick you can deepen it even more and add a lot of definition to it by using a black eyeliner pencil just in the outer V of each side of the lips and blend a little.

1.wet/dampen sponge for applying foundation - smoother, flawless finish
2. If you wear liquid eyeliner on top of eyelid, blend/smudge with an eyeshadow, takes away that harsh drag queen look.
3. If using a few skincare poducts, learn how to use them and which order to use them.

.....and more importantly, drink water, keep skin hydrated and wear sunscreen

Sleep. It's amazing how a lack of sleep or late nights can age you very quickly. I've found that around six hours of sound, uninterrupted sleep works wonders.

Use a sunscreen. The sun really ages your skin, not only does it add years to your complexion, but is also dangerous. A tan isn't sexy, and if you prefer a bronzed look, use a light fake tan, it really isn't worth the health of your skin in the long run.

Take care of your body.

Eat healthy food and keep yourself hydrated.  Three meals a day - they don't have to be huge meals - healthy snacks inbetween.

Exerxcise sensibly - don't overdo the the gym work.  Exercise to keep the body toned and trim - bulk muscle on a woman is ugly.

Regular check ups with your doctor and if in pain get it seen to - makeup does not cover the pain in your face.

Sleep as mentioned above.

Lots of water and healthy food, enough sleep and steaming your face over boiling water everyday (found that out by accident from having sinus).

Sleep with a satin pillowcase. It stops you from getting creases in your face overnight. Really does.

I got prescription contact lenses and now I can see all my crows feet

Spend ages in Priceline today trying to find a suitable liquid foundation but they are either too light or grossly greasy and thick. In the end I just got confused and didn't buy any .

I never use a liquid foundation now, i use the Maybelline mineral makeup, it's beautiful and light and gives you that glow.
Give it a try, i highly recommend it

Thanks for that hibiscus-surf

I saw that but thought as I use a powder compact to touch up I wouldn't need the mineral powder. Mind you maybe it's a better option as I don't really like creams. I'll give a go next week as I have a gift voucher to use so might as well try it.

I have a pale skin but with some pink tones , any ideas on what colour to aim for ?

Wash your face twice daily with a mild cleanser.
Moisturuze daily, and use SPF daily.
Wear a primer such as beauty flash by clarins under your makeup.

As for the about question, there are heaps of makeups for fair/pink skin tones...on saying that shop around for one that blends into your skin perfectly. I personally use DIOR in 100, Clinique foundation in alabaster is nice for fair skin. Most mineral foundations are REALLY far too yellow for fair pink skiin!

Thanks for that , I'll have another look on Thursday I prefer Dior so will see what's available. I only wear foundation here in winter , in summer it's just not comfortable

Maybe a tinted moisturiser might work, Mirenesse has some really nice light foundations and tinted moisturisers  :)

My biggest tip would be that it is never too early to start a skin care routine - I have gotten my 11 year old daughter into the routine of cleansing and moisturising every day - with products that are suitable for her of course  :)
