What would you do?
If you had a member bid on one of your jewellery items twice on two different occassions then turned around and asked you to cancel the bid as it was a mistake - would you cancel the bid the second time around after giving them a warning that you would not cancel if it happened again?
I'm frustated because this is happening to me and I feel like I am being made out to be the bad person because i am abiding by the rules set out in our Oztion User Agreement. I was abused by the other member by them saying I don't provide a good customer service when in fact I do and stand by my customers truly and wholey but I will not breach the Oztion user agreement for the sake of a sale. A tough situation so advice from anyone would be beneficial right now. Thanks guys.

Hi

If SAME  ITEM  - I would ask for an explanation-

why they placed a bid- cancelled- then placed the bid again on this ONE  item

If - however- they placed a bid on item 1  & asked to cancel then placed on item 2 & asked to cancel
then - I'd cancel and block them from any future sales / bids

If it was the SAME  item - both times- I think I would wait for the explanation before deciding on the action of NPB  or cancelling the sale

either way- I'd be blocking them - once completed

cheers :-)

I dont think its right what they are doing... but in saying that i would cancel, even though you are abiding by the rules and then block them. I wouldnt like to deal with them anyways.

Is there anything in the buyers feedback history that shows any relevance to what is happening ? I would be inclined to follow the process and they can either pay or have a NPB lodged against them . You've been understanding once and I don't see why you should do so again because the buyer should understand the bidding process by now

If it's happened more than once, I'd block them AND drop admin a line to let them know what's going on.

It's funny because the seller says that they have been selling on sites for 10+ years and has never come across this user agreement "you bid - you buy" lol well I have and if I bid on something I am bound by it unless I have made an honest mistake and even then I make sure I don't do it again. I think I will just cancel the item and then block them because they really aren't worth the trouble.

Thanks guys

How would they know ...... You have to actually buy something to be a customer .....
Cancel the bid, then block them.

I would have blocked them after the first cancellation! Esp after the abuse. How dare they! Admin should be notified.
Good luck with it

Why cancel the bid? That's their problem. Let the bid go through to a sale, then leave them a negative feedback if they don't pay.
