 Hello there kidsstuff thanks for the response, does these measurements depend on the material or is it regardless of what material was used to make it?

L            = 16
XL          = 18
XXL        = 20
XXXL      = 22
XXXXL    = 24
XXXXXL  = 26
not sure if the comparison to the above helps, it does vary from brand to brand and whether the material is stretch or non-stretch.

 oz-sparkle if the item does not stretch what will the centimetres increase to please?
And if it does stretch does this mean someone can where a shirt in a lower size than they would normally do?

Garments are measured in not stretched size.  If it is stretchy then the relaxed measurement is the one given but you probably wouldn't want to buy a size smaller as the style probably wouldn't suit being stretched tighter.

2XL - Chest, 110cm, Waist - 107cm,
3XL - C, 115cm, W, 112cm,
4XL - C, 120cm, W, 117cm,
5XL - C, 127cm, W, 122cm.
Stretch is up to 4cm average but as said before, everything varies. You're best off measuring your favourite fitting garments laid flat and doubled in cm.

 So what size would someone have to get if they were the following:

Waist 127cm and chest 118cm please?

As previous poster has said, measure up a few of your clothes that fit you and write down the measurements (lay them flat with buttons done up).
Underarm to underarm, inside leg, across waist, Shoulder to cuff etc, then you are ready to shop with a bit of confidence.
