We are going to be grandparents again ......
We had to go and visit with Anthonys daughter last night , and found out that we are going to be grandparents again, Casey is only about 7 weeks , Anthony is very excited now that he is over the shock , but , the father of the baby has turned out to be an arsehole , when she told him yesterday , he was very violent towards her, he told her that he wished for her to be standing under a tree when it would be hit by lightening and kill her ... How dreadfull , so she is coming to tay with us for a few days, so that we can keep her safe ...The bastard ..
Also , we are waiting to hear if Rissa may be pregnant as well , she is waiting another week to have the test , but , she is feeling pregnant and is late ..
2009 is going to be the year for babies in our family , we have two nieces that are pregnant , two of my nephews and their wives are trying , Casey , maybe Rissa ...Babies galore ... lol ...

Congrats crinkly  ......I love babies and I am sure you are going to have a total ball with the mini baby-boom!
I think it is great news that Casey has made a move away from the dad if he is like that......I should have but didn't and it was definately the wrong choice.

Thanks too, for the heads up......I will have to start listing bubby things - LOL!

Thankyou Honeylove , that is lovely , yes she is determined that she will not put her baby or herself in harms way, yes i will be looking at baby stuff in the new year , as Casey has nothing ..   So sellers get listing .. lol ..

Seriously crinkly...........please try & reassure Casey she is doing the right thing if the father is as she says. It can be scarey and tempting to want to wish & hope & believe that these fellows will change - and yes, once in a rare blue moon, they might. But odds are they won't and she will have a far happier and enriched life without the constant stress of an abusive and aggressive person to tip-toe around, as well as the demands of a new bub.

I know I spent years hoping I could change my then husband (who I married way too young because of the baby on the way and who was similar sounding to your Casey's fellow). When I found out I couldn't change him, then I spent years trying to change me ......trying to be smarter, prettier, quieter, a better mum, a better wife, a better cook & house keeper and bread winner --- it exhausted me and nearly sent me nuts and also robbed me of about 15 years of life that I could have spent happily raising my bub. And quite likely meeting a "nice" man down the line when the time was right.

I give her full credit - she must be a smart girl with a good self esteem.........and she will do just fine - amazingly well - without the likes of that type of man.

Hi Honeylove , oh yes , I really don't think that she will go back to this bloke , we reasured her last night that which ever way she wanted to go we are here 100% for her , after Christmas she is going to go up to her mums up Grafton way for a little bit as well , yes we all know how many emotions are tied up with being pregnant , and how sometimes what we seem to think is the right thing to do isn't , but , we can't put an old head on young shoulders , all we can do is support her her and give her a safety net , and love her and this baby with all of hearts .. Which we do and will ...

Oh some more cousins for the boy, and maybe a new brother or sister soon, so he will be the big one.  How exciting for him as well and starting school next year.

2009 will be busy for your family, I hope all goes well for Casey.And that the feral keeps out of her life.

Thankyou Di , I will pass the message along , yep he is going going to be the big boy , he also had his first , first cousin come into the world 4 weeks before the wedding , Lukes sister had a boy , second grandchild for Lukes parents , he is such a cutie ,
Master 5 , isn't saying much at the moment , we will just have to give him time to take it all in , but , he'll be fine .. Yep , off to big school after Christmas, he can't get there quick enough , lol ...

Master 5 will be fine and your right it does take time for them to adjust.  I can still remember what Claire,  was like when they told her she was going to have a sister or brother she was not impressed for awhile, then decided that it would be great to have brother.  So when Abby come along she was happy but still signs of not to sure. 

But now they just fight and then there friends again then fight, but I guess that's kids ah. They still even manage to fight over me at times ever tried to sit on a lounge chair with one on each side and get squashed in the middle........

Poor Casey, she does not need a nasty man like that in her life. What a rotter to say that! You cant work some men out can you?
Rissa will be excited if she is also pregnant, what a fabulous year its been for her!

Hi Kath!  How Exciting!!!

Your daughter will know just in time for Christmas too! 

I've just found out I'm to be an Aunty in June.  I'm ecstatic!  Can't wait for him/her to grow already!

What wonderful news for Christmas.

I hope Casey stays strong concerning the father of her baby - no-one needs that kind of person in their life.

It's funny, every time I clear a few more baby things out to get rid of, I hear of others being pregnant and start thinking of more myself - oh, slap me now!!       lmao  No more for me yet - 2 is quite enough at the moment.
My eldest is starting school next year too, he turns 5 a few days before school starts - the years go too quick

Exciting news ....

Rissa is definately pregnant , a honeymoon baby or babies , big chance of multiples ...

We are over the moon , so our babies are all coming in August .....

Wow reading back on this , so much has happened since then the 2 boys are nearly 2 now , one on the 20th August the other the 2nd September , they are just so different but so cute and naughty and so cute when they are naughty ,lol...will have to put picks up again soon , and Ethan is not far off turning 8 , time flies ...
