VShop advantage
I have a Vshop but are not making any sales.  May be I am doing something wrong.  Do you think there is an advantage over just straight listing?  I even had a sale but sold nothing.  As an aged pension I have to watch my dollars?
thanks

In my opinion you do not really need a vshop til you have that many items that it puts your buyers off scrolling through them all.
That's the only time I ever go into one when shopping myself.

When you advertise in SPOTD (when you don't have a shop) you can advertise that you offer a percentage discount at checkout (you do have to pay FV fees on the actual price though, but in most cases that wouldn't equate to that much),
OR you can list an auction price and a BN price on your items and have Make An Offer on your listings and advertise that in SPOTD as well.

When you are reading this post, it's in the left hand column at the side, under quicksales specific, 6th topic down
Seller's Pick Of The Day

You can advertise your items twice in a 24 hour period

I used to have a Vshop but closed it when things went quiet and it made no difference to my sales, personally I never visit vshops.

I may have it wrong but if you have a vshop you do not have to manually relist your items every 60 days so it might be worth the small amount to save that time, this might only be a consideration if you have a lot of listings though
