Thinking of selling larger size women's clothing
I am thinking of selling some large size women's clothing and handbags on here but was just wondering what sort of information do I need to put up on about the items

Thanks

Tanja

For clothes one of the first  things I look  for are measurements, because sizes vary so much.

Good clear pics,  and description  including type of material.  Postage cost is also a must for me,  I have to really really want something to be bothered asking.

That's about it for me I'm sure others have heaps of advice

good luck
cheers jinni

I'll second all that jinni said.

1. Good clear photos (front, back, closeups work best).

2. Description of anything not apparent from photos.

3. Fabric

4. Manufacturer if known

5. MEASUREMENTS - most important.

6. Weight

7. Postage cost

All of the above plus weather its elastic waist is also a good idea especially if it cant be seen by the picture.

Hi Tanja; I agree with all the above. I also add whether the garment has a little or a lot of stretch. Some clothing only has garment ease stretch, whilst others have a huge amount of stretch. I think it important to know whether the buttons on a blouse may gape across the bust, or the stretch & type of elastic on a waistband.

I'm lucky enough to own 3 mannequins, including a plus size mannequin, which makes photos easier. I do note mannequin size & whether the garment has been pinned to fit, or was tight on her, to give prospective buyers an idea of how the garment will look on a person.

Mannequins aren't necessary, but do make clothing look nicer. Plus size mannequins are especially hard to find, but worth the investment.

For plus size clothing proper measurments is a must.  As sizes range so differently between items........
