Thankyou Admin.

Well I got a Valentine's Day greeting today.

Thankyou Admin for it.

It's way better than my other half would ever do.  LOL.

My ex partner of 15 years was about as thoughtful as a slug. On my 39th birthday he said to me and I tell no lies "F*&k off and get a job you lazy mole' and then when I got a job he told my kids I was neglecting them. Couldn't win no matter what I did.  Needless to say we are not together anymore.

My new partner is the total opposite. We were 'childhood sweethearts' and I couldn't be happier.  He works away in the mines and he rang me this morning just to say how much he loves. There is a not day that goes by where we don't tell each other how we feel. You just never know when today must be your last.

I've never been the romantic type but I just wasn't with Mr Right, love him to bits

Happy Valentines everyone.

I got a nice pink flower from a total stranger you wished me a "very happy day".

Was sitting at an outside cafe table enjoying a mid morning coffee when this guy came along - not bad looking in rugged sort of way - put this pink gerbera on the table and said "To a very lovely lady, I wish you a happy day", and then walked away.  I was was left sitting there with a smile on my face thinking "Wow".

Sorry Admin and everyone.  I meant the greeting up top saying Happy Valentines Day as my greeting from Admin.

Oops.  Sorry I just got back from loading a truck and read the replies.  Sorry for being misleading.

G'day 'sheila-bloke'..........

I'm still laughing at this post......so funny.........I knew what you meant with your post mate.....cause if Admin was going to send a special message out to certain 'special' Quicksales members I know that I would certainly have received one........lol......hahahaha!!!

It was still a lovely surprise.....and 'THANK YOU" admin or whoever it is that does the changing of the Logo flag come special dates of the year.......you do a good job.

When I wished old mate a happy Valentine's Day and gave him a small token he tried to make out that he hadn't forgot and came up with a gift...(out of the blue)......'Here is your gift from me' he said.......................It was a DVD that he had taped the night before  of a new series on the telly called 'ALCATRAZ'......   lol.............what can I say........................

I got my very first Valentines Day wish today.  In all my life I have never been given anything for this special day.  This morning I was in at my voluntary job and a person I have known for about 3 years came and wished me happy valentines day with a kiss on the cheek.   I was very shocked but, He just made my day.

How lovely 'blackduck'.......you obviously must make a difference to those in the job you do.

Well some of us were very fortunate and got some great surprise's.  Some of us got the usual.  Nothing.  LOL.

The closest I came to a valentines wish from the other half was when I got a call from him just after midday when I was loading the truck.  He asked if I had set his phone alarm to go off at midday.  I said no and why would I set your alarm to go off at midday for?  He's reply maybe something to do about valentines day.  My reply.  Why would I waste my time doing that when you don't do anything about it.

Tho I did harbour the thought of sending a dead bunch of flowers addressed to the Mongrel if he was working today to him.  hehe.

What an amusing read hehee! I too thought you, Sheila, had had a personal message from Admin and there I was thinking, what about me lol

Some die-hard romantics seem born that way - others...well.....not a romantic bone in their bodies ! Anyhow, I hope you all ended up having an enjoyable day. Even if it meant you had to spoil yourselves.....and aren't we worth it

$$ are pretty tight atm.

So no flowers or choccies for her.

Could only afford to blow $100 for dinner.
