Like others I sat back and waited to see what the general consensus was re Temando.
Then I had a small parcel come from Horsham Victoria to West Lakes SA, not far really.
It came by Australia Post and took ONE WEEK.
So I thought I would give Temando a go. I booked it in by computer, paid for it by VISA.
Australian Air Express picked it up from my home at West Lakes Shore on Wed afternoon
and delivered it in a suburb of Perth, Friday morning December 24th.
Price insured was $10.39.
Not bad for less that 48 hours and I could see by computer tracking when it was delivered.
Aust Post would have been $13.25 for the same thing.
How they are affiliated is bizarre because the service and pricing are way different.
Don't sit back any longer, get behind Temando.

Re Temando - I have used it once and would like to use it again in the future, but am  still
unsure as to whether I will or not.
If the buyer is not home when the parcel is delivered  -  who pays the second delivery fee, the buyer or the seller?
If the seller is billed for it, how can they claim a second postage charge from the buyer when the buyer has already paid for delivery?

That is on the assumption that the parcel will not be left if there is no one there  to sign for it.
Can someone please enlighten me ?
  Kind Regards,  Bilbybix
