Talk about doing it tough - ;-P
I have always been a mad keen camper. For over 40 years I have headed bush when ever I could but never did I imagine I would become so soft.

I remember sitting in a tiny tent getting soaked while it p'ed down outside because the tents just were not waterproof. Sitting around a campfire trying to get warm in freezing conditions to cook the meat we found floating in the ice water in the esky, Trying to find new batteries for the torch so I could read a book ...the list goes on.

Here I am sitting in my tent (2.6 x 2.6 meters) that is totally waterproof, I have my little blower heater going, I have internet access, satalitte TV, Lights, music, double air mattress and 2 sleeping bags that keep me toastie all night. I have a fridge freezer that keeps my beer cold and meat frozen and get woken by Kookaburras and magpies and the sound of the surf every morning.

Bloody tough life hey !!!

In Gracetown (WA) at the moment. If anyone ever gets down this way do some exploring. Most folks come here for the wineries and miss some of the best coastline around. I love this part of WA. Hopefully working my way North again starting next week. I want to check out the Green head / Leeman area and then to Horrocks and on to Kalbarri where I might sit for a while.

I know what the rich (and poor) folks are doing ...they are getting up, going to work, coming home going to bed , getting up, going to work, coming home going to bed ,getting up, going to work, coming home going to bed. I got sick of that ..... heeeheee.

Anyways have a great day folks ...off 4x4 exploring !!!
