swarovski crystals - what is it?
I found that some items have "swarovski crystals" in the description.
What material it is? When I look into some item photos, I feel it is a plastic more than a crystal.

To me, "swarovski" is an brand selling expensive products.

Can anyone tell me more?

They are precision-cut lead crystals.  Normal crystals contain 12-28% lead oxide, Swarovski crystals contain 32% lead oxide and this increased lead content refracts light more efficiently adding more lustre and sparkle than normal glass crystals, they also weigh more.

Thanks.  Now I understand more on Swarovski.
However, I still in doubt why some items with description of "swarovski crystals" beads selling at very low price (less than $10)?

They really are lovely to work with!no other beads feel the same in your hand. Some can be difficult to photograph to do them justice,though-especially those with the AB(iridescent rainbow) finish, which may give the(false) impression that they are plastic LOL.
And they certainly AREN'T cheap!(but worth the money).

Cheap doesnt alway mean fake. I sometimes sell mine really cheap as I have finished a project and no longer need them. Think it is better off someone else having them that then sitting in my cupboard.

Swaovski is So nice, I create alot of jewelery using it, they even Feel differnt to normal crystal. Best to buy bulk from a proper wholesaler, that's what I do. Pricing my jewelery with it though is hard, I once made the mistake on another selling site of under-selling 12 bracelets with it and made a loss of $41 :( But I always find it hard to price my jewlery for the proper selling cost, lol
