Sony NEX-3 Reduce Quality for photos

Hi I am trying to get the resolution down so i can take photos of items to sell. I cant get the image size any lower than approx 700kb. Does anyone have one of these cameras and know how to reduce the quality

No idea how to change the setting on your camera, but lots of photo/image programs let you resize your photos so they'll load faster. Sometimes all you have to do is "save as" Jpeg and it will ask what quality you want.
