Should i be concerned?
Hello & Welcome to Kazzaskrafts
I am starting to get concerned as a seller
I have been having sales here and there, at the moment i have a 5 day sale running of 10% off all shop..
I know it christmas and with getting Children back to school late January, i am just wondering if this is the problem why some sellers are having no sales on there items...
Please let me know after viewing my shop, if there possiblly anything i could be doing to make things better for potentail customers.. The sales are costing me and i am not sure at the moment if it is helping in any way having these sales..
thanks
kassaskrafts
Happy New Year

Hi kassaskrafts , your listings look fine and your items are lovely . So IMO that only leaves the possibility that it's just a hard time of year to sell things.

It's been tough for mostly everyone ( and terrific for some of those who have had heaps of sales regardless ) but I think money is just in short supply .

I know that selling handcrafted items is really really difficult , people buy those items when they have some spare money etc .
The year before last I couldn't make enough Bears and Critters as they would sell before they were even finished , now many OOAK makers are finding the interest is there but the money is  not.

Hang in there is all I can say , some day soon things might change

(The only thing I noticed is that your listing durations are very long , if you shorten them to 3 day ( for BN etc) then they will be seen more often )

Thankyou for your reply, i appreciate it and will fix that little duration problem.. Do i have to chance each item individually or can i do multiple items at once.. Thanks again

If you have a sale a lot of people will think you're desperate, or if the prices are too low they'll wonder what's wrong with your items.  If you have a sale too often nobody will buy at the normal price and they'll just sit and wait for your next sale.  Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I've had record sales this month so far.  I don't expect it to keep up though - things seem to go in cycles.  Last month it was really slow (dead).  I wouldn't mind a slow week next week.

I've been wondering the same about my items, wondering if my prices are ok and if pics are good or not, havn't had a sale in awhile either. But who knows, they might spring back up again soon :)

I'm in the same boat...lol.
My prices are low just to get rid of stuff so I can travel.
must just be that ppl have other more important stuff to spend the money on.
may I suggest you also get your name in BLUE so ppl here can click on it to see what you are selling rather then do a search for your name.

It's as dead as a maggot here atm. Also dead elsewhere. It's an ongoing thing and there is'nt much you can do about it.

Not sure when you marked yourself away, but if you've forgotten to put yourself back online that may be why you haven't sold anything recently?

lorrie/karan/snackbaa, I think you should be very concerned.  It seems that you don't exist.  I can't find hide nor hair of you in a search.  Perhaps somebody reported you for advertising.

I had the same problem, missdaisy. Thought my PC had chucked a hissy fit !
But I think the Vshop is kazzas_krafts or something like that with an underscore.

Well hmmm, you're doing pretty good as it is kazza, your sell-through rate is actually pretty good, so don't despair .................

As far as benefits of having a Sale:

It is a good time to have a Sale when you have a lot of watchers, considering they will be notified and maybe that is a motivation to make a purchase + it may also attract new buyers + perhaps a few random factors such as someone looking at any V-Shops having a Sale, like I often do - LOL !

BTW - Just a heads up - Minimum parcel post has gone up - it is now $ 5.00
