School Holiday Acitvities for 10yr old boys
Hi All,

Yes it's that time of year again. School Holidays.
I am just looking for ideas on activities that will keep 10 year old boys active.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and keep warm.

Household chores should do it nugget! Lol. I'm sure you could find them lots of little jobs to keep them busy :)

Yes I need to clean the house up.
I will be starting in their rooms on the weekend.
Just wanted to get them out and about this holidays.  Boys are so active and need to move around.  Well mine are anyway.
I was thinking Movies, Ice Skating, Trip to the City.
Hard to fill in 2 weeks though.  And to do an outing every day will cost a fortune.

I remember when I was little my nan and I made a kite and took it down to the beach to fly.  This was an all day activity as we have to find some straight sticks and newspaper then put together and add string.  Once made we went to the beach to fly it.  Maybe this is an idea for mine as they love building things.

Hi Nugget I've got a 16 year old that came home with a book from school that has a whole heap of stuff to do on the holidays that is subsidised by the local council and they've got stuff like fishing, canoeing, guitar lessons, laser skirmish, karate, arts and crafts, clay sculpting.....and it all costs no more than $5 for each thing....ring your local council and see if they have anything similar in your area.....good luck with the cleaning.....
Cheers

Bushwalking ( no need to worry about snakes at this time of year). There are lots of trails everywhere with interesting sights like waterfalls or gorges. Bike ride around a lake or some interesting spot, park. Free Museums. Do a scavenger hunt ( have a list fo things to find / look for on the way) and make it a bit of a competition.
