Sale cancelled but feedback still required?
I cancelled a sale at the request of the buyer. I removed it from my Sold list and relisted it. BUT the item is still waiting for feedback. Is there any way to remove this?

If you don't leave feedback, it just stays there until the feedback time runs out (think that's 60 days?) then it'll disappear.  You could leave a rating stating mutual cancellation but there is no rules on it as such.

As far as I know there is no way to remove an item still needing feedback, even if sale was cancelled.
Feedback can be left within 90 days of item closing (sold).
So I think it sits there for up to 90 days.
I have a mutually cancelled sale waiting out its time too.

 You could just leave a neutral with the comment that the sale was cancelled by mutual agreement.  That would not affect the buyers feedback score and would tidy up your list.

If you were happy to cancel the sale then a happy/satisfied comment  is what I would leave...

I wasn't exactly happy to cancel the sale - it was at the buyer's request.

It's probably still better that they asked you rather than just say nothing and not pay.  I rarely have that sort of mutual agreement to cancel a sale. 

Sometimes they'll buy the same thing twice and I'll ask did they mean to.  If they didn't, I offer to cancel the second one.  Seeing they've bought other things I'm more than happy to cancel one of the items - sometimes they'll buy something else instead or ask me to swap it for something else.  A happy customer is more likely to return.  I leave feedback for the cancelled item the same as the rest of their purchases. 

If it's a single purchase that's cancelled I usually don't leave any feedback.  3 months soon goes.

It's your call - but if they contacted you and it wad a mutual cancellation - I don't see the point of leaving them a nuetral?

I don't intend leaving a neutral, or anything else. I'll just leave it till it disappears. But it seems very odd that once a sale is cancelled it should still appear in the Feedback list. Why isn't it automatically removed?

I have " 2 feedback required" showing for months on end yet when you click on it there's none to leave , but the message is there everytime
