Hi all - I've been to the AP site and still confused. I need the cost to send 3 postcards - under 20 mm thickness - registered post.

Is it $3.05 or $2.60 ?

I'm guessing the $2.60 is for bulk pre-paid envelopes which I do not have

Im no expert when it comes to what the post charges as it depends where we go here but I have found no matter of post office or size of parcel that registered is $3.05 but hopefully someone who lives and breathes aus post will be able to help.

Yes, its $3.05 plus postage , which would only be 60cents for 3 post cards. Marian

Yup, thanks Marian

I do charge a little extra for the plastic sleeves & padded envelope but it won't be over $4 tops...cheers

Marian - why do you say it would only be 60 cents, when you can plainly see the charge is $1 ?

Telling another seller how much to charge...what the ?

Sometimes people can overlook the hidden costs involved in sending items.. I'd never send postcards unprotected in the mail in just a standard envelope, unless of course it was wrapped with a ton of bubble wrap first and a strong backing card to keep them undamaged. The simpler option is to protect in standard postcard plastic sleeves , attached to a backing board and pop into a padded bag, then drive to the PO.

Hope that clarifies things..
