REFERRAL PROGRAM NEEDS OVERHAULING
Hi. I referr lots of people to quicksales. I have daily sales elsewhere. But only two of them have ever used my referral number. When I sell elsewhere I always include a card I have made up, directing them to Quicksales with number on it. I also email my url to my customers. They may join but only two have used my number. The referral program only lets you withdraw when you have $5 and I am $1 short. I have been $2 short for over a year or so, it was so long ago. Why can't we just get our $1 or $2 straight away? The waiting seems pointless to me and you have to try and sell Quicksales to others to get that amount of $5. I have given literally hundreds of people my referral number. It does not work very well for members the way it is. Please Quicksales would you consider lowering the withdrawal amount? It would be nice to actually be able to use the money for fees.

The people you refer need to purchase something before you will be credited with any money from the referral program.

Although you refer a lot of people it means that only two of these people have made purchases on this site if the others do come back and make a purchase you will then get a credit to your referral balance.

You used to get the refferal credit when they first joined regardless of wether they purchased or not but this led to members just getting their friends and family to join so they could get the refferal credit so now they need to make a purchase first.

OK I have contacted admin but I would like to see what others think?

I think my first $2 was a year or so ago and I may have to wait that long again til I get another $2 and then I have to get one more dollar in order to to be able to withdraw it.

That leaves me a balance then of just $1 so I would need two more members in order to get the next $5. Its like a vicious circle.

I have done what I can to get buyers over here and would like some reward for it.

This is a friendly question from a loyal member who would like to see sellers getting their reward faster. They all deserve it :)

Paddy I know that. But they dont bother to use the referral number.

I have a lovely lady who buys from me and one or two others who just didnt bother using the referral number.

So after all my efforts what reward was there?

Unfortunately admin can't credit you if they have not used your referral number as there is no way they can be sure these people were actually reffered by you.

Ive had $4 sitting in my referral a/c for about 2 years now - starting to think I'll never actually get it, lol

I like the idea! I too have $4.00 in my referral account. Perhaps it could go towards a fees credit if it sits there for x time? Cheers, TTLG

I had a referral on Saturday and to date, have had a total of 5 referrals. I just transfer the money over when it gets to $5. It's no big issue for me whether I get a referral or not as I think a sale is more important. If buyers use the referral number, then it's a bonus.  Perhaps you could send your suggestion to Admin to lower the withdrawal amount.

Beani, I am in exactly the same position! Many people I know who have joined via me have not used my referral number and I am also a $ short....

Paddy - I happen to think my word is enough. I am not one of those dishonest people :) If I say it is so, its because it is so.

Nara -   you are obviously getting sales and referrals. But some of us dont get a lot of sales and we pay fees month after month and dont break even. I had to close my store, I couldnt afford it anymore. I am on a mixed income so the extra money is very welcome. So to some of us that $4 or so means more to us than it does to you.

IF we have earned the referral then just give it us... who does it hurt but us if we dont get it? Why wait, what is the point of that?  Why do you have to wait years to get what is yours? I am not asking for the moon here.

beani, I hope that Admin do alter the withdrawal amount for people just like yourself or at least change it so any referral dollars go straight onto our accounts.  I do have to agree it's a long time to wait between referrals sometimes.  Don't give up though, perhaps offer your newies an extra incentive to use your number??  Perhaps a little bonus gift or a small discount?

Beani unfortunately the old handshake agreement and beleiving on face value has gone we now live in an "I didn't see it so it didn't happen" world. Personally I prefered the old way but no one trusts no one these days.

I use to get a lot of referrals through the link on my website but haven't had any for a while now and have only 40c in my refferal balance as I used the last $5 lot for fees. I do agree though that when the amount gets to $1 you should at least be able to use it for fee's even if you need $5 to withdraw it to your bank account.

Beani, my referral balance is $4.45! so I am only 55 c short, some of my referral credits I have been waiting for since 2007!!!!!!!

Hmmm its all something to think about isnt it? I have tried so many ideas to get people to buy...you know, buy two get one free, that sort of thing, sales etc but I just dont happen to do well here, but sell heaps and heaps elsewhere. I have to think its not me, but the site not getting enough traffic or that what I sell is too readily available.

whatever the reason, yes, I think letting us have the referral money sooner, on a smaller amount is the fair way to go for members here.

I want to thank you for all the comments, this is really good. If enough of us here say something, maybe admin will do something positive for us.

Oh brightmore... wow !!!! to be 55 cents short is ridiculous isnt it?

How about all of you who have it sitting there also contact admin? Maybe we need to start a petition or something?

I honestly cannot see myself getting any more referrals, it's been about 1 every 2 - 3 years so I just can't keep waiting for the last one to get $5 when I advertise quick sales 3 - 4 x a week every week and have done so since I joined.
I've given more than $4 worth of advertising to quicksales!!!!!!!
People join, but don't use the referral number.

Yep I think we all have the same problem, the new member just does not use the referral number. Putting the $2 in the a/c each time would make it easier I agree. Marian

Good idea Marion :)

I think we could even compromise.

If the amount is under $5 it can go towards our fees -  if its over, then we can choose the option of either withdrawing to a bank account or putting it toward fees.

I dont want the actual money, I just want to put it toward my fees.

And yes, if new members dont use the referral number and dont buy....then you have gained nothing for yourself but Quicksales has gained another member, who may buy from someone else. So they cant lose.

Please give us our referral cash towards our fees :)

Pretty please quicksales :)

I thought you could ONLY use it towards fees, never put it in the bank.  Yes if this was so they could lower the amount and make it a EVEN amount TWO or FOUR dollars would be okay, as this is what we receive - in even amounts.

Another person joined QS yesterday after I told them about it and did not use my referral link, my total stands at $4.45 and I will lose the lot as it's below $5
