re Express Lister not working
Is anyone else still having problems with Express Lister since the new update was applied yesterday.  I am still not able to open it, or even get past the login screen.

Just a thought but have you changed passwords for qs ? if so then the old one will work for EL until you change it .

I used EL yesterday and there was an update and a Cat update but it worked ok for me once that had loaded.

Edit , it opens ok for me . Maybe drop Admin a line

 I am having exactly the same problem, have sent an email to Admin, they can't find a problem, so emailed back, just waiting to hear again today.
Have done everything right, even uninstalling and re-installing 3 times, hope it get's fixed real quick.

EL did update yesterday.  I logged in okay yesterday and today.  I have been working in EL for quite a while this morning.  Just uploaded 1 item as a trial.  All good, even had pictures.

Thank you Isabella10 for your suggestion as to whether I had changed my password recently - no I have had that password for some time.
I contacted Admin about the problem yesterday, but as yet had no reply.

Lioness 7845 I am glad I am not the only one having this problem - it has been working so well up until yesterday

Exentric-emu  - I am glad yours is working - maybe there is some hope of getting it back.

I don't know just what to do next, if I un-install it and then re-instll it, I might still have the same ongoing problems as Lioness7845

 I have exactly the same problem. I have un installed and re installed. Checked for windows updates etc but still not working. This all happened after the update. This is on my Windows 7 PC but I am still able to use it on my olVista laptop. I have searched and updated everything but still not working. Not happy quicksales! I have heaps of new items to upload!

I've heard from admin just a little while ago and they say that the missing picture problem has been solved.  Unfortunately, your pictures have really gone and will have to be reloaded.

I'm just going to list a couple of things when I get a minute to see if it's working, then let them know, as they have requested.

This all happened after the update, but luckily I haven't had any log in problems, fingers crossed.

I am having the same problems, was working fine yesterday before the update. Have sent a message to admin also.

I can't get past the login screen either.

It comes up with the login screen, I enter my details ( usually this is already filled in) & get the following message

Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Then when I close express lister down I get this message

An attempt was made to load program with an incorrect format ( HRESULT: 0 x 80070008)

Funny thing is it works on my laptop no problems ( both windows 7)

 same problems here for a few days - and photos are not working by manual listing as of just now.

Jules, send off a message to admin with the item numbers, its quicker than them having to search your listings. 

When I just used EL to list the same 3 items that had no pics from last night (after withdrawing them first), 2 out of 3 listed with pics, but not the third one.  I've let admin know about that a little while ago.

The more information they have the quicker the problem should be fixed I hope :)

Edit: Jules, I can't see any missing photos on this id (looking at your latest listings)

Express Lister Issues

There have been some reports related to the Express Lister version released on Tuesday 18th October. It appears that it may not have worked properly on 64bit Windows operating systems.

A new version was released at 5.30pm today the 20/10/2011 that addresses these issues.

To install the new version, you must uninstall the old version first.

 thanks dezirable-books - I had to go back at least 3 times to redo the photos on the ones I did today - in intervals - finally they are all there.

Not listing on here anymore tonight - I can't afford to keep going back to redo the photos that much.  Will wait until they say the problem is fixed.

EL is still not working - so can't use that either.

will have to do other listing work for now.

 Admin got back to me and as of 5.30 today EL has been fixed, you need to uninstall old one and reinstall new version, a few little but vital changes have been made, mine now works perfectly.

When you un-installed, did you loose all your data?? I have almost 2000 items & all in catergories.....

Have un-installed & re-installed express lister & listed about 10 items with no problems. Thankfully all my data is still there!!

hi everyone.
I'm having problems too, I click on it to open it and I get the error box. its been like it the last couple of days...very frustrating
