Rain rain & more damn rain!
What is it with the weather around Oz at the moment? Isn't it supposed to be Summer? We just had some of the storms that are going around & my garage ended up 8 inches deep in water!

I saw on the news that Ipswich got it pretty bad today too. Anyone driving in these storms please take it easy & don't take any unnecessary risks.

Oh Oh! Round 2 has just started so I'm turning off my PC now. The thunder is very loud & my dog needs me for comfort. She's trying to climb on my knee & she weighs over 40kgs! Lol. Goodnight & stay safe everyone.

Sydney & the Central Coast copped it yesterday also. Was so dark at 3 p.m. Thunder was unbelievable!
Sadly a man in Sydney died after being struck by lightning. The weather sure has been crazy lately, Marian

After years of watching things struggle and die during the drought I refuse to complain about the rain.

Trouble is amy it is too much rain.  Went from drought conditions here to enough rain for farmers to be optimistic about their crops this year, to floods and storm damage, which has now cost most of them their crops.  In turn it will cost us the consumer more at the shops as those products will be in short supply.

A no win situation for all concerned.

Up until recently i have never minded the rain but it is effecting my income as i do markets all weekend,  so things are really tight for me , being xmas time doesn't help either.
I am afraid enough is enough and i agree we the consumer are going to pay as a lot of farmers have lost there crops so i see fruit , and vegies and other produce going up sky high in price in the near future.
so enough really is enough.

I had no choice but to drive from logan city to here in it as  the child care centre where my daughter works was on flood warning. too. No power in parts for hrs
