PC Help please............System restore
I have stuffed up something on my PC & I can't get things to work properly so I want to try system restore.
BUT My system restore won't let me in.
I get this message when I try...... 

"system restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on system restore, contact your domain administrator"

How can I fix this?

OK, I'm back. Option 1 was no good to me so I did option 2. This got my system restore back  The only problem is there were no previous restore point dates available to go back to  Oh well, I will have to figure out another way of fixing this mess. Thanks for your help Nara

Sorry Sam :(  Perhaps backup everything and start over again?  This is a good way to get rid of all the bugs.

I was hoping bananas would show up but it might still be a bit early for him or maybe a bit late!! lol  He might have a whizz bang solution we haven't thought of yet!

I don't think bananas can help me now. A complete re-install is on the cards I think.

No restore points means nothing can be restored. Unfortunately, a reinstall is likely to be your best bet.

Cheers bananas. I thought that would be the way I would have to go. I'm now saving all my data
