Pandora ....
What is your favourite Pandora Bead. Just had a look at some of the new beads that have come out. Can't wait till my b'day. Got a bracelet with 3 beads from santa (okay hubby). I love the new Kangaroo with joey (must be because I am still a big tourist  if it comes to Australian animals )

So what is your favourite one?

Hi ya dutchy!

So funny, because I just got an early mothers day presie last night and I would have to say its my fav so far! Its the pink murano glass bead with darker pink "spots" in gold (75502). Love it!! Im looking at the catologue now for my birthday in October lol.

I must be really behind everybody else when it comes to jewellery and beads.

I wouldn't know a pandora bead or bracelet if I fell over one - unfortunately.

Or any other designer items or brand names.

The only reason I know the word "Pandora" is from the forums here.

I need to get out more LOL

And no - I haven't even been in to the jewellery category to have a look either.

Jules I only found out because I saw the ad before christmas. And I must have said to hubby like a million times that I love the leather bracelet....finaly something that is so me.

And just in case you are still wondering what they are: You can get 'bare' bracelets and ad specific beads...a bit like a charm bracelet. It is kind of an addiction, although I only have the 3 that santa gave me so far. I have a heart with a clear stone, a ladybug that my miss 4 choose and a green munaro glass bead (one with flowers).

Jas I just had a look in the brochure. Looks nice.....I love the glass beads

Crustymum, yes they are expensive. Some of the gold ones are so nice. I just do not look at them .

i have 2 pandora bracelets . 1 is just all the colour beads, murano glass ones, when i would have a hard day at work, so that 1 got filled up quite quickly lol but i don't have a favorite, i love them all ! my mainly silver one was filled up with b'days and chrissy gifts to me, plus i added a few myself . but its full now, for xmas my guy got me a mix of the gold core pandora in greens with like sparkly green stone ones in between, its on a leather tie up , i would prefer it to be chain but everytime i mention it to him he says oh but i like it that way ...........needless to say i have been wearing it since xmas day, as i made him do a huge knot so it won't fall off ( that is my only concern with the leather . my next pandora bracelet is going to be all the sparkly beads , altho my many col glass bracelet is my fav, its like looking at lollies :)

I would LOVE to get a Pandora bracelet and start collecting meaningful beads and charms for it...
How much are the beads on average?, how much does it cost to buy the initial bracelet? And do you just dangle a few beads at a time or eventually fill the entire bracelet?

Hi playinginmud, it depends if you like silver or gold. Gold ones cost a small fortune (at least for us). Silver beads are anywhere from $30 to a bit over $100. Spacers are $16. Silver bracelets are $69 or $89 depending on the kind of clasp. I have the thick leather bracelet which was $69.

It can be very expensive to fill a bracelet, but I do not really wear much jewelery apart from earrings and if I remember to put them on my engagement & wedding ring + a few other ones that I have since I was a teenager.

I have a Biagi bracelet and have only another 5 beads till i've filled it. Most of my beads are Biagi, I've got an angel to represent my parents who have passed, a dog to represent my dog jack, and to represent my daughter i've got a baby bottle, a love heart with 'girl' on it, a pram, another bead with a stone in it representing motherhood and my latest is a cow from my mother-in-law. The cow is part of Pandora's latest collection and she was told it was really popular...glad I don't take things too personally ;o)
