OPENING DAY THREAD **Secret Santa**
Ok on MONDAY 19TH this thread will be open for you to post your pictures in of your gifts xx  DO NOT post or open your gift till Monday! And please we all love pictures so why not share dont just tell us SHOW US!!!!!!

I couldn't wait any longer!

My parcel started with a lovely card and delightful letter from Secret Santa.

After I tore off the wrapping, I found an absolutely perfect little sterling silver gnome charm (just what I wanted!), and a Postal Numismatic Cover celebrating 75 years of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.  That is an envelope with a nice stamp of the harbour bridge on it, and special $1 coin inside, in a special holder.  Santa also tells me it could be a good investment for the future!  I will put the charm on my charm bracelet,and put the Postal numismatic cover away for the future!

Thank you so much to my special Secret Santa!  I can see a lot of thought and planning went into this one, and the result is worth it from my point of view.  Lovely gifts, and very appropriate!  I couldnt' have chosen better myself!

And a great big thank you to Aussiebrat for her planning and hard work to make this a success! Here's a hug for you:  ((( )))

G'day to all.......

Well....what a wonderful surprise.
I have been off-line since Friday and was busy with my daughter and her family visiting till yesterday so only logged on this morning to find it's 'Opening Day'.

This is the beautiful gift that my Secret Santa sent to me.........I have it on display already ....look and see.
Thank you so very much to my gift sender....I soooo love it.

Oh wowwwwwwwwwww l love that runner and l know who your secret santa was l have a very similiar one but in witchy theme purple hehehehehe very lucky indeed!!!!

WOW--I am gobsmacked------Wonderful pressie.
One from my non secret Santa was  a cute little basket with hand made perfumed hanging reindeer--chicken and gingerbread man---2 soaps and 2 packs of soy melts--1 refreshing and 1 soothing..both of which i can do with.

  Oooops  I missed one also has a lovely lavender/vanilla bath bomb.

I'm only here quickly at present.  I opened my parcel and found 2 heart shaped cakes of homemade soap.  I took a photo with the dying batteries but its a bit blurry so will post one later on.

My one fro my Secret Santa is soooooo cute and I love it.A pretty tea-light burner---little glittery bird on a tree stump with christmas cones and the burner is a bird bath. Also has the perfumed  tealight candles to go with it.. Thank you secret Santa...Love it.

I have yet to find out what size to use in photobucket so that every-one can see picture bigger.  Sorry still learning that.

Well my secret santa had some problems and l never received one but l would like to share a present l received and l think its the same person who sends to me each year (??????) forgive me if lm wrong as l might be lol but l received this gift and a card saying Boo Guess who!!!!! Its very pretty to my secret santa yr 4 l think (wow years go by fast!) and l love the colors very soft and pretty.

Good morning Everyone.

I'd like to say a very big " Thank you "  to my secret Santa who sent me the 2008 ' International Year Of Planet Earth'   uncirculated 2 coin set .

It is a very welcome additio to my coin collection.

I appologise to my secret Santa ( and to everyone else) for not being able to post a pic og this great coin set for you all to see but unfortunately I'm in the process of upgrading my pc and for some reson my pc has installed my printer ( a 4in one) itself -but when I try to install all the programs from the disc it tells me that  it is not compatible with my operating system ??

So until I can work this out I don't know how to access the scan program .

My appologies to everyone also for not replying to our 'opening day ' thread  when it was first posted yesterday , which I spent the greater part of waiting around in the pre-admission interview waiting room at the hospital .

Whilst I'm here I'd like to say a very big 'Thank you' to Helen who has once again done a fantastic job organising  our annual Secret Santa . ..so Helen  "Thank you" .

To each and everyone of you I'l like to say....

"May each and everyone of you  (and those near and dear to you) , have a very Merry Christmas and may 2012 bring you all Good Health , Peace , Love and much Happiness !.

Eat lots share plenty and sing christmas carols! 

Well hope some wander in and share but if not thank you all for making my Job easy in Secret Santa.  One rule of play has always been you didnt play right this year you cant join in next so hope you all played fair and enjoyed your gifts.

Will get the camera and my mums and my gifts together in th one place soon so I can post photo's.

Mum is very pleased with her special gift.  Said it wouldn't be hanging out in the trees but on the front verandah.

Thank you 'aussiebrat' for the wonderful experience of Secret Santa 'Quicksales' style.....(my very first time)
I had fun trying to choose the right gift for the person I was allocated to buy for...(I took the task rather seriously)........just hoping that I have succeeded in 'getting it right'...Mmmmmm!!!...maybe I didn't get it right because they haven't replied to this thread as yet.

I was so excited when 'MY' gift arrived and couldn't wait to open it from that day until the specified 'opening day'.....and my joy of finding out just exactly what I had been sent (from a total stranger) when I did open the parcel that had been blinking at me and begging me to open it for so long........lol.......

Have to say that I have had a number of visitors to my house these past few days and they have all commented on my Christmas Table Decoration........asking if I had made it myself...lol....(I'm not an artistic person at all).

Was so happy to tell the story of the Quicksale Community thread that you started.....they all thought it such a great idea.

 I was the same   yobbo1  I couldnt wait for the SS to start, it is always a bit of fun and putting something together for what is a total stranger but somehow feels like a friend, because you read so much about them from the forums. But for all that everyone was coming in and saying 'hurry up' I find the response to this thread very disappointing....shame really.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas, stay safe
