OMG - What Did I Do Wrong ?
Made a new category in my Store and when I finished putting my items in I looked and it had listed all my baby items in there as well and the whole baby category was missing as in no longer existing ............

It took me ages and ages to make a new baby category and put all the listings back in and from memory this has happened before, but I can't see for the life of me how I've done this.

What did I do wrong ??

 I can see a baby section - with 19 items in it.....

Yes, I had to re-do the baby category and move all the baby items back in there, which took me ages .....

but when I made the new category (crafts/sewing) all the baby items ended up in there and the baby category had completely disappeared.

I don't know what I did wrong for it to end up that way.......

 I'd guess you probably created the new category at the wrong level, a level above the baby category, and it then absorbed the baby category.  It is eay to do, you just used the wrong box on the left.

 Some people shouldn't be allowed to have baby items, if this happens again I will report you to DOCS

I think maybe you wanted a new  category & you've actually replaced one- edited one- instead of creating a new one ?

If you go to your :
  http://www.quicksales.com.au/secure/OA/itemactions/bulkedit.aspx

My Quicksales / My Selling / edit listings  ( on the right  ) is Vshop details ( top of the list ) 
- you will be able to edit faster

you can create a new category or add sub categories this way too
