OK Who Is Up For Some Honesty?
The things one's mind has racing through it when one cannot sleep is amazing.

Last night for example I wondered - What the average age was of members here on Quicksales.

Any one care to add their age?

I did a survey when I first started selling on Oz (about 4 years ago) and I found the average age was 45-55 yo. Would be ineteresting to see if it has changed

lol ellencol,very hard to guess by looking at what people type.time2shop i reckon is in her 40's or 50's.ie ellencol,look at ms figjam,i wouldnt have thought a 55 yr old lady would use that as an id.

 german you are never too old for a computer, as part of my IT course I had to do work experience, I taught at a local community centre who ran a course for older people and my first student was in her 70's, her mother who was mid 90's had just graduated from uni and bought herself a new computer as a reward and gave her old one to her daughter.

Teaching these older people was so much fun, most just wanted to keep in touch with their young folks by email.

A very young 60 here.  I reckon age is a state of mind, I don't think of myself as being 60 and I don't look it either (thank god lol).  Have had people not believe it when I tell them my age.

i think its fantastic Ellen,that older people use computers,paticularly if theyre isolated or have no family,can always find someone,somewhere for a chat.i suspect you are the oldest jimlsr,fantastic

actually no bratsnthings,when i was 15 i used to go to the pub & watch the strippers & get blind drunk.the publican thought i was in my 20's.when i was in my early 20's people thought i was in my late 20's.now im 34 people prob think im older too. .it comes from having an ugly mug.but such is life

Totally agree. My dad is 80 and my mum is 67 and they have no clue about how to use a computer. They are mainly interested in Bingo lol!.

What an interesting thread this is.   More than 500 views, yet just on 6 dozen replies.   Did all the others chicken out?   Or is it a reflection of what percentage are prepared to be honest?

As for me...... what do you want.... my chonological age.... my mental age..... or how old the body feels.   They are all different.   And if you ask my children, they will give you a different age again.

And this year, when most of you will be celebrating the Queen's birthday in June.... My twin and I will be celebrating the big ZERO, for the seventh time.

It is really good to read that I am not the oldest.  I have the greatest admiration for those who are older.

Hi. I'm 73 and thoroughly enjoy being involved with Oztion/quicksales..MUCH better than the other sites. Lovely people to deal with. Less expensive to sellers as they are not forced to comply with mandatory payment methods which are simply a rip-off. Just an old hobby seller who wants to quit fifty years of a collection.

Hi,
I'm another 55 year old but still feeling 21.  I reckon kids keep you young though.  I work with them every day and love it!
