My Banner on Shopfront
Hi All,

When I had an oztion Vshop I was able to put my banner on the shopfront, but now I can't remember how to do it or if it's been taken away due to the change to quicksales.  Am I missing something???

Also how do I get a nicer background colour opposed to plain white?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is an easy one... you use a cascading style sheet (css)

Many thanks......I gave it a shot and I can only seem to get images and not plain background...must be too early for the 'thinking cap'!

You can either;
a. use an image of a solid colour
~or~ 
b. change the code that points to the image, to a html colour code (eg. #8D38C9) 

Either way will produce the same end result

To put your banner into your shopfront you first need to have your banner hosted somewhere like photobucket then in the shopfront editor use the insert image icon on the editors menu (looks like a picture of a mountain and sun) open this and paste into the URL part the direct link from under your banner in photobucket.

To get a background colour in your shop you need to use a style for body background colour. You don't need a full css stylesheet unless you are colouring more than the background as in a full vshop makeover.

Thanks Paddy....I finally got the logo onto the shopfront, but I still don't understand how to get the background colour. I'm really sorry if I'm stupid but I just don't get it.

The background colour using CCS in EL doesn't hold either

 What size does the banner need to be?.
