My pictures all have the quicksales logo watermarked on it and I LOVE IT

where on the pics can you see the watermark, eg left, bottom? i cant see any on my pics yet.  btw, i am not a fan of watermarks.

Perhaps they are working through sellers alphabetically? Mine are there, and I have both watermarks, OZtion top left and quicksales bottom left.

hahaha  I have them too. I quite like it actually....only small  really,  it doesnt cover you picture and make it look nasty, some watermarks are huge

have you noticed, if you are looking at your list they are not there, if you were shopping you wouldnt see them, it is only when you open theactual  listing that they show......either that or I need new glasses, because I couldnt see it on your items until; I opened the listing

 nonswimmingturtle you are correct, I just checked, the watermark only shows after you open the listing.

It doesnt bother me but personally I think sellers should have had the choice as I know a few object to the watermarks, maybe that way everyone would have been happy (now wouldn't that make a change? admin making everyone happy lol)

Quickbuys, I can't see them on yours either (checked your listings with a light background), but swimming turtle has them too - so cute  -

I'm all for it. I think it has been done tastefully and discreetely. The only problem is I use a lot of black background and the watermark disappears into this.

I've got the watermarks but they are in one of the four corners - seems random - i wish they stick to one corner so i'd know to leave it empty.
At the moment some cover pics and some dont
The watermarks are basically light coloured and discreet which is good.

toddlers, has a double whammy, oztion watermark in one corner and quicksales in the other .

You are well represented as far as watermarks go ......

I'm sure they said they were starting with vshops first and then getting to everybody else.  Must go and see if they are on mine lol.

boo I don't think it's alphabeticaly coz your 'B' and I'm 'A' and mine still don't have them done....but I just checked yours and I do like it...

It really only displays a logo and does nothing for watermarking an item against unauthorised use.

The marks are placed in such a way someone can still copy your image and remove the logo.

So all your getting is the quicksales name on your photo's.

annieoakley2000 I also just copied one of your pics, I am sure if you took it to Photobucket it would be able to be cropped and water mark gone, not that I did that, so I see no great bonus with this, Marian

Isabella, those who make a habit of stealing photos will do so regardless of any measures taken, at least this makes it that one step harder for them.  As for the quicksales logo being on my photos, I'd much rather have that than the wierd little symbol that shows up on photos elsewhere which signifies nothing discernible at all and often obscures the image of the product..  And I don't recall them ever giving me the option of having it or not having it when I was listing there either.

Just put the money for copying my photo in my piggybank Marian and DVD supplier  - LOL !

Considering I am listing on their site and using their photo uploading service, I have no problem with quicksales watermarking my photos and unless you put a block on your photos anyone can steal any photo on the internet, watermarked or not.

If anyone thinks my pictures are nice enough to copy, that is really a compliment in its own right .....

Good Afternoon Everyone
Some of mine also have two watermarks on them the word oztion and quicksales
I think the watermarking is a good move on the behalf of quicksales but I think they could of done it in a different way and made it a little harder for people who continue to take someone elses pictures ( noticed I used the word take it sounds better)
Below I have done two examples of watermarking
Please note I am not advertising as I do not have the items in these pictures for sale

My post had everything to do with presentation and a professional look and nothing to do with "unauthorised use"

I am happy for quicksales to watermark my photos.

It looks really good and professional and that was my only point .........

as a buyer, the logo bouncing from one corner to the other is highly distracting.  I think it would be good to keep it in the lower left corner or possiblly the right lower corner, as discreet as possible, definitely not on top
