kids sizes help PLEASE
Hi everyone,
I have not been on message boards for a long long time.
But today I need you help and advice please.
For those that don't don't me, I'm a male. So this is a dumb male question.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERANCE between size 2T and 3T please.

The reason is simple. My eyesight has gotton real bad, and I miss read a label on item I sold.
I saw 2T but it ended up being a 3T and customer wants a refund because its to big for her baby !

I'm at wits end. Item was only $5 for 3 piece suit.

Do I have to refund posatage as well ?

Thanks
Gus

A 2T or 2Toddler is the equi. of a 24-30month old child's clothes. 3T- 36 months

T = Toddlers not baby sizes

Don't be at your wits end , we all make mistakes and your buyer has already left feedback saying they were happy ( unless I've seen that wrong) so they sound reasonable.

So , as it is too big for her child and the error is on your part I would refund in full upon the return of the item as the buyer is not at fault. One way to keep customers happy  . Sometimes it happens and we make a loss but at least it's something that can be rectified.

If you Google the sizes you will find it explains the 2T and 3T etc so maybe next time you can add more info into the listing or actually hand measure the garments and put those sizes in as well.

Hope that helps

If I were the buyer, I would have kept the item anyway. Baby is bound to grow into it

Thanks for the reply's so far.

The sizes make sense. OK

But now to the refund, I said to customer to keep item because baby would grow into it.

So do I still refund the EXPRESS postage ?

Thanks

I wouldn't refund the postage because they have the item in their hands and have obviously agreed to keeping it rather than posting it back.  I personally think that eliminates having to refund the postage.  I would just  refund the price for the suit and apologise again for the inconvenience.

Good luck

wow that was a bargain for $5 , 3 pieces new with tags,  kids grow so quickly, i usually buy ahead in the next size anyway, i would ask if they wanted to hold onto it for their baby to grow into and offer them either a credit for another $5 when they shop with you again, or a refund for the item of $5, thats if they are happy to keep it still, which im sure they will, they look like great items!
