Possible if they faxed documents through perhaps.

couldnt possibly be possible surely?
the listings could have been transferred from say turbo lister onto express lister and  then uploaded..
maybe that date is the date they became verified?
I really am not sure .
But not address verified because isnt that a letter that is sent out with a verification code and you have to wait for that letter to arrive in the post?
I  still have my letter from years ago lol

I want to know their secret took me almost 3 hours to list about 26 items (new from scratch)

Maybe has to do with the Christmas Days of Sales promotion?? Thought it was just me! Enterprising bunch these Admin people although I resent the assumption I am stupid at times!

 Conspiracy theories?  LOL

Perhaps this is an existing member who has deceided to set up a second ID and open a vShop for a different range of products?  I understand if you set up a second ID that admin can transfer your existing verifications to the new one so you don't need to go through the verification process again.  They may have been adding these items to EL for some time and simply uploaded them all en masse once the vShop was in place.

I don't know how long verification takes but listing that many items is a piece of cake, I listed over 5000 in a few hours, the only limitation is that you can only list 500 at a time

Ahhh that must be it Boo  I'll have to remember that for future use , maybe they have imported the listings as well . Wow not a bad way to start here , qs must be getting popular

I think I know who they are now , which could explain the rapid approval .

Good Afternoon Everyone

Maybe this seller has opened a
Create Platinum vShop  a which costs $165 per month
Maybe that it is why it is possible

It looks like a normal vShop but I'd say their turnover would be pretty big so a Platinum shop would be a good option.

Nice range of gear too , better stop drooling because there's way too many things I want lol.

Hopefully there are enough buyers for the big time sellers. Marian

If they are listing 4, 5 or 10 times more items than anyone else, one can only hope they also have 4, 5 or 10 times more sales.

I've done a bit of a sneaky comparison with some big sellers here and on the other side and my humble sales are still on a par with most of them percentage wise and unless they drop ship, their capital tied up in stock on hand must be enormous, so the pressure is on for lots of listings and mega sales every second of the day - LOL !

Good morning Quicksales members,

To answer the original question "Is it possible?",
Yes, it most certainly is. Particularly for Platinum vShop members.

It is another example of how the Admin team are quietly going about their business of building this site.

Thanks Mod but the one in question does not have a Platinum shop , so that's not how it was done.

I don't know who the seller was Isabella, I didn't bother looking, but it is irrelevant anyway.  There are other ways that they could achieve what they did, I outlined just one above, way up toward the top of the thread.  And in any case, it is no-one's business but theirs really.

Absolutely , but I've been busy trying to convince someone they can do this ( after noticing the seller the original post was about)  , thanks to your help I ended up finding a Platinum vShop to show the person. Now just a few more push and shoves in qs's direction and he might come over here .

One of the reasons he didn't sell here was the hassle of moving thousands of listings and wanting a sleek shop front and having a 'different look' like he has elsewhere.

I tried to set up a second id. Unfortunately my first id was verified using my credit card, and they dont allow id's to use the same credit card. So the second id was put on hold.

That's normal procedure if your trying to set up anther Sellers account so you will need a 2nd Credit Card.
This is not required if you were setting up another ID as a buying account.

contact Admin if you need help

Things must have changed then, as one of my daughters started selling here after me, and we both are CC verified using my husbands credit card as neither of us have one. Then when the other daughter joined, she could not be verified with same CC, so my husband used another he has, so seems like at the time you could have 2 a/cs but not 3.
Unless its different when, for example, my daughter has different name & address than me at the time.Marian

I have 3 seller accounts verified with the same credit card but the last account was set up in Nov 2008 so they must have changed the procedure since then.
