iTunes Help
Help I couldn't get iTunes to work (always has before) but screen stayed black etc.  I have uninstalled the program and now cannon reinstall.
I go to iTunes site and hit download and a small blacnk window pops up for a few seconds then disappears, it should come up with "run this program" or "Save" but nothing.
I have tried with antivirus and firewall turned off still nothing.

Do you have CCleaner ? If so run that after checking you have completely removed iTunes ( Start-Control Planel-Programs) then restart the PC .

If anything is left behind it's probably going to hinder a new download for iTunes.

There should be no need to turn any protection programs off  , I certainly wouldn't anyway as many download programs piggyback Malware .

You need to remove all related components
