Is there any way to hide my location in listings?
Hello there,

Just wondering if there is any way I can hide or remove my exact location in listings? I dont mind showing my state, obviously, but in a classified ad, my town came up aswell.

Thanks in advance

No you cannot hide it, it will show the suburb and state.

I'll just use my local paper then, thanks for getting back to me, Admin!

There are plenty of listings showing

Sydney , Brisbane etc perhaps you could do that , at least qs gets a listing and a possible sale for the seller.

I often see NSW (NSW AUSTRALIA), so there must be a way. Marian

Hi lvnkermit,

my listings have "Sellers Location  Northern Vic on the Murray (VIC, Australia)"

To do this ~ go to "My Account then My Profile.
I have my street address & town on the one line, then the "Suburb" is relevant to where I live......Northern Vic on the Murray (VIC, Australia)

regards momma

PS I did get one payment via a money order and they addressed it EXACTLY as above. So as a buyer you should change it back after you sell this item or notify sellers to leave the last line off your parcels!!!!

If I were wanting to buy something locally & it was a large item; I'd prefer to know the pickup location, or at least a general area, rather than having to ask & hope for a reply.

I only say this because I'm currently looking for a within Vic large item of a specific type (none on QS) & I'd need to factor in ute hire & distance charges & etc to the item cost prior to purchase. I've found a few possibilities elsewhere online, & it would make things so much easier if I knew the item location (rather than just Melb Vic, in my case of searching)

Anyone in Melb have a temporary gazebo (looks not important) or something to use as a duck & chook daytime rain shelter for while our storm damaged pergola is being rebuilt? They have a shed for night use. Cheers TTLG.

Wish I did TTLG - but although I'm in Melbourne I can't help unfortunately.
