IS EXPRESS LISTER THE BEST WAY TO LIST
I HAVE BEEN SITTING HERE LISTING FOR 2 HOURS BUT I DON'T SEEM TO BE GETTING ANYWHERE.

IS EXPRESS LISTER A BETTER AND QUICKER WAY TO GO?

ANY ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Hi TG,
I prefer EL to list.
I'm not saying it is any quicker this way but I do have a record of everything listed this way.
makes it easier to relisted from EL if needed.
i can also save listing as template for items similar.

Hi Tassiegirl,

I also like to use EL as I can store different templates and all my listings so I don't need to re type them all up, if needed later in time.

It is also a lot better if you want to schedule items as you can schedule a fair way ahead and any time you want, where scheduling on the normal listing here only gives you the option of every hour for the next 24 hours.  I can sit and do my listings late at night when hubby is working and gives me more time in the day.

EL is good, the only complaints you see in here are from those that cannot get it to work, for some reason it works perfectly for some and is nothing but problems for others

Yes EL is the way to go.  Everything said above I agree with.  I only had one problem and that was when a file got corrupted.  Admin fixed it but I did loose quite a lot of my listings.  Been using it since I joined.

It is good for my V-shops as you can create folders for each of your shop categories and if you put the right shop categories in the listing as you do it, you do not have to sort after you have uploaded.  Great for multiple similar listings as you can duplicate and make the minor changes as necessary.

When I do a special listing for people I use the manual listing as i don't need to put pics in as it takes so long to load.

EL is worth using - once you know how all the functions work you will love it.

 I am one of those spade referred to lol, have tried several times to get the program to work, even had a lot of help from admin but it just would not cooperate.  I do all my listing manually but I find using sell similar and a lot of copy and paste it does not take long at all.

I find it much quicker to list online rather than use EL.
When you list online you can have up to 10 (I believe) drafts so I use those to store templates.

I used to list online and import the listing to EL in case I needed them later. Now if you import them you get the blessed quicksales logo on the photo. If you use that listing again from EL they add another logo.

I don't have the time or inclination to edit the photos so I am listing from EL at the moment. It took the best part of a day to get it working on my new computer, but thanks to ej's post and lost of trial and error it now works.

I find it very slow loading templates etc but it may be due to the sheer volume of listings and photos. I'm pretty sure it's not the computer as it is speedy as for everything else.

 I use EL to list and save copies of listings and templates  and have been blessed with it running perfectly for many years ( touches wood) the only issue lately is that when you relist from EL the thumbnail image shows for a while then dissapears.

Not a big deal to me as I always have an image in the description area so I just resave that back to the PC and add it back into the listing. 
Occasionally a listing that was previously listed as relist till sold will end after the listing duration and sit in Unsold with no relist option making it a pain in the toosh to relist again from EL so it pays to check relisted EL items for these 2 issues.
