I would expect to hear from a seller within a couple of days.

Did you go through checkout?  some sellers may wait for that to be sure you have finished shopping.

Good luck with it

Hi 24 hours, then id drop them a quick friendly message asking for an invoice.
I normally get an invoice within a couple of hours of an auction ending or the following morning if it ended in the evening.

If you've not completed checkout, do that and click on the request invoice part.  If still no reply, forward (via QS) a message requesting an invoice. You would think most sellers would respond within a day or two. If it's been up to a week or longer, then maybe something has happened to the seller and they cannot get online.  Request to cancel the sale if all else fails. Personally, I would not pay if I had zero communication from a seller.

If you  have been waiting over one month for an invoice I would be in touch with Admin and ask them to cancel the sale.  If you have waited one month for an invoice what chance do you think you ever have of them posting you your parcel.  Contact admin and they should be able to stop them leaving you neg feed back for non paying buyer.

From the site map ;
Unable to contact the seller

Please allow at least 3 days for the seller to get in touch with you. Please ensure that the seller's email address is not blocked by your spam filters or redirected to your junk mail folder.

What to do after 3 days:

  1. You can get the seller's email address from the 'Won' or 'Purchase' email sent to you.
  2. You can Contact the seller through quicksales from the item page or from your 'Won' list.
  3. Ensure your spam filters are not blocking emails from the seller. The seller may be trying to email you but your filters are blocking them.
  4. Check that your contact details are correct. The seller may be trying to email you but your contact details are incorrect. Click here

Call the seller. Request to Exchange contact details in order to obtain the seller's contact phone number. Note: Try the above steps first.

Emails returned / bounced back: If your emails to the seller are returned (have not reached the seller), it is possible that they are having problems with their internet service provider / email. However, the seller will still receive messages you send via the quicksales message system in their quicksales inbox when they next sign in.

If you still cannot contact the seller after a reasonable time frame, we recommend that you leave them an appropriate Rating.

Unlike eBay, checkout here is a signal that you have finished shopping, not that you are going to pay immediately.

Once you do that, the seller should send an invoice forthwith.

Buyers who don't wait for an invoice before paying actually generate extra work.

In order to proceed the transaction, the seller needs to send the buyer an invoice. Even with a note that the invoice is for my records, I still get indignant "I paid by Paypal straightaway" responses.

Pete I still send an invoice on the rare occassions people pay by Pay Pal prior to invoice.
I just say thank you for payment in the msg box. Like everything to be done correctly!
The people who complain about no sales are maybe the ones who dont look in to send invoices. Same as not replying to questions. A seller lost a good sale from me for not replying to a simple question, which I asked twice!
I can only assume when I asked the use by date of an item that it was out of date!
On the other hand, I asked a question about a different size item (dog collar actually) to that being advertised & received a lovely reply even though the seller could not help me.Marian

That's the tricxk, marian. Provide customer service.

I sincerely hope QS doesn't go down the eBay route, where they effectively block anything which will allow a seller to personalise.

As the multi-thousand listers don't and won't have the time to respond personally, why should they be disadvantaged by those sellers who feel a need to provide real customer service?
