Internet connection not available when trying to upload
well it obviously is. Hello????

I've tried closing EL and opening it again. Chatted on FB just to check that I wasn't imagining my connection being live. Here I am now.

And still EL thinks there is no internet conneciton.

Ideas?

yup yup just tried again. Still says no internet connection is currently available, please try again later.

also says

datagridview control must be bound by an Ibindinglist to be sorted

what does this mean?

is it some form of bondage routine that I must enter into the get my EL to work?

Has the power finally gone to the tech supports heads?

Or are we now practicing witchcraft to make the program run?

could be something in the air/
I had problems with my pc last night.. kept telling me sites were not available. ? I knew they were as I was also using my laptop connected wireless from same server?.
I know it one thing on your pc is working internet wise then others should do too. but don't always.
unless the size of pics are larger then allowed I have had that problem,, without realizing until till much later.

ohh bummer I had that a week or so ago but can't remember what caused it , it did fix itself though .

log out of EL and use CCleaner or similar and try again . I 'think' it's just a bad response but you need to clear your data before trying again

mmm shouldn't be pic size as they've all been downsized but might double check that.

it's also back to recording an error if I try to delete a listing. Have to log out then back in again to make that work. Haven't had that problem in a while.

I only cleaned cache a few days ago so should be not a lot of residue around.

righto then, tried loading listings individually in case one has a larger image but nope

tried downloading and got a heap of error boxes I can't read as the trying to load box was on top and would scream at me if I tried to click on anything except to close errors unread

tried logging into other ID and downloading a current listing. Got same error on start up plus the no internet connection error.

not even sure what files I'd clean out.............may just settle for stabbing at the error boxes on the screen

will just have to be one of life's great mysteries then. Ever so useful to know what caused it in case it happens again but like........sigh

At least we know, the next person who comes in asking this question should be told "do nothing". Seems to be the cure.

Whenever I have had that happen to me it has been because of issues with either my ISP or qs server issues.  All it takes is someone doing minor server maintenance at qs to throw off a connection. Ocassionally its my computer needing a good clean out and defrag.   It always corrects itself eventually.

as I'm on the same speed today as yesterday and all other internet things worked, I'm guessing QS was having a play.
