Inner wrist tattoos
Hi everyone.
I have an appointment in 2.5 months to get a tattoo on my inner left wrist.  Just wondering if anyone on here has one there?
Id be interested in knowing a pain comparison for it if possible. I ve not experienced alot of pain really. Ive had 2 kids, Ive had a broken nose, a broken collar bone and shin splints.....

I find the feedback conflicting... I've heard some say it is the least painful spots to get a tattoo and others say it hurts like a b*tch.
I have wanted to get an inner wrist tattoo for years, haven't worked up the courage yet. For me it's not really the pain that scares me, it is the irritating gross feeling of a needle vibrating on my veins..

well i havent had the wrist done but it is a small area so a small tattoo presumable....i couldnt imaging it be worse than a broken collar bone so i'd say it would be managable.  for me the worst part is the needle not the pain but if it isnt too big an area it will be over before you know it.

I don't know about the wrist but I don't think they hurt at all, it's a very easy pain to cope with. I think the burning afterwards is the worst of it - now that's a b!tch

None of mine can be seen unless I 'show' them - I wanted it that way because I think that they're a personal thing (plus I couldn't have visible tatts in my chosen profession!!)

You'll be fine, you've given birth so you can cope with anything lol

Yeh, I thought after a 12h labour with only morphine that a tattoo would be pretty easy going!
I stay at home with the kids, so I dont think anyone is going to care about my tats:)

You'll do fine its not as bad as you imagine and the needle isn't like a needle for a blood test.....if you keep it covered with glad wrap and put antiseptic cream on it for a couple of days afterwards you'll be just fine and wander what all the fuss was about....
Cheers

Getting a Tat is just like a scratchy feeling, not like needles going in. Nothing compared to giving birth or broken bones thats for sure! You wont have a problem im sure :-)

Hmmm, I just rang the tattoo place that I had chosen years ago, its still open (yay), but the Co-owner that I wanted to do my tat sadly died about 5 yrs ago! (Long story, havent been in contact with anyone from my past in years) So now I dont know who to go to....

I am now 65 and over the past year have had both my shoulders and upper arms inked - it is very addictive - I am going in for my next tattoo in a month or so.  The pain is very short lived - as soon as the ink leaves the skin you feel no pain at all - I believe anywhere near bone can be the most painful. Cheers and good luck - just make sure its what you REALLY want and what you have done is the design you really like - its gonna be there for a long time!!!
Cheers.

My cousin has it on her inner wrist and said it was fine.  I think its more the itch and 'ticklishness' that you need to worry about

 Hi

It's more the outlining that bites a bit but not that much, it really doesn't hurt and as one lady said you've given birth so this will be a breeze - it's the filling in (if any) that can feel a bit scratchy and sting a bit.

Well that was my experience anyway

cheers
