I'm one Month New - and I wondered what women think?

Been here just a little over a month, enjoying it and catching on pretty well with only a few hiccups.

I have a bias and love the feel and breathability of natural fibres.  There is some good style in polyester and the same as in linen, silk, cotton etc. I wondered do women put a preference for natural fibres first or look at the styles first?

Just wondering.....

I go for style and look of the garment rather than fabric, will wear most fabrics, only a couple that aren't nice to feel :)

I think 99% of women look at style first then at price then at fibre content.

I prefer fabrics that breathe - not necessarily natural as its usually a blend of natural/synthetic.

Depends on style and comfort design . Right now as little as possible and preferably cotton Polyester is not the type of fabric I wear in summer , some blends are not too bad but it's way to hot for anything that clings urggggg.

I llook at style first, although fabric is always useful to know. I love silk and  linen, although they are both buggers to iron. I also rather like viscose especially in shirts as it is usually quite soft and drapy without being clingy. I also like cotton shirts, although a little polyester is all right. One thing I hate is clingy clothes and rarely buy anything with too much elastane, lycra or spandex.

I've been around for sixty-two years and I still have no idea what women think.

Hiya Precious,
I would think that women wear what they think men would like them to, no matter the fabric. After a while, they realise that they too do not know what the opposite sex thinks, get a bit sensible and go for the comfort factor with a desire to still feel at least a bit attractive! Then they get really sensible and realise that looks don't matter and self thoughts are paramount and go for the comfort and thats it! So I guess you have to think about what age group you're looking at. :-)

I missed the bit where women dressed to please themselves fishychick...Grin  But yes comfort sure goes a long way...I personally don't like to feel cold and clammy in winter and hot and clammy in summer.

When I look for clothing it's fabric and style together and then I see if "price" makes the grade...

Warmly,

Precious Lady...
