I have a gremlin in my Tags selection!
Hi everyone,
Has anyone had funny things happen with the new "tags" ? I have listed some keychain watches and when I went through the tags and the subsequent drop downs, I left the "watch function"  at nil choice, as none were suitable, then when I checked the listing after I had finished right there on the page in the listed tags was this : "Watch Function - Cotton with waterproof backing". Now that is really interesting, I had not chosen a feature also it was not a choice given either, but where in heavens has this ditty come from?? So if you look at my items please be assured that if you buy a watch off me it WILL NOT HAVE 'COTTON WITH WATERPROOF BACKING" anywhere on the watch, its all metal!. Hope others have had some funny things happen.

Yep there are strange things happening in the tags dept. Brands coming up in my tags that I have never used. I really wonder if they are worth using, its just extra time wasted when thay are not correct.
There is a post about this, which also includes a reply from admin, will have  alook for it for you.

I used sell similar to list an item just before, the tag was saying *table brush* when it was an item of clothing.
I have never sold or used the word *table brush* so dont know where it came from
This is interesting, I just did a searh for that item and one was listed by someone very close to time of my listing, Sonja

Yep, had strange tag names through my listings too!  I went through 500+ listings to get them right again!! grrrrr

I wish I hadn't read this thread.  I am pretty sure that was me sonia.  Now I think I am going to have to check 800 odd listings to see what the tags 'say'.   sob

Ohhhhhhh  I thought tags were the optional references we can add to a listing but after reading the more info (thanks Marian) tags are obviously something totally different!!! waaaaaaaaa think I'll just go back to organising tea lol

Yes mygifts, and time difference of listing is 3 mins. I have contacted admin about this problem again today.

I went through 7 pages of listings to update tags and other stuff , not going there again so if they are wrong tough bikkies

I am so glad it wasnt just me!!  Oh well, there is always a hiccup, but quite hilarious too!!
