Hypnoband
Hi,

Has anyone heard of Hypnoband?  It's where they hypnotise you to think you've had lap band or a Virtual Lap Band, just wondering if anyone has had this done, I thought it might be worth a go as it's also covered by your health fund!  I wouldn't have thought anything that wasn't reputable would not be covered by a health fund.  I recently posted about Hypnosis and Weight Loss, but this was advertised in Brisbane's B Mag and thought it might be okay???  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  If anyone is curious, the website is hypnoband.com.au

Cheers
Cindy

Pure wishful thinking that hypnosis could trick your body into thinking you have had lapband surgery.

I wouldn't have thought anything that wasn't reputable would not be covered by a health fund.

There are plenty of services covered by health funds that are of no health benefit, like homeopathy for example. The health funds cover these dodgy services because they attract customers for the health funds, not because the services are of health benefit.

Couldn't see it working either - something that tricks your body into thinking that you can only eat a teaspoon of food at a time - I think not!
