how do you make the fancy background that some people have???

I think you are referring to templates.  Many sellers have them and they are similiar to what they sell.  There's heaps of template sellers on here who sell generic style ones or can make one to suit you exactly.

You need to start by reading a page such as this... learn and understand the ins and outs of html coding... then write the appropriate code required to achieve the desired results.

That's all there is to it... pretty simple, really

have a look at my store. Its a very plain template....I add the photos in via html...(the source button you see in the left hand corner of this page for example)...if you need some help just message here again. I can give you the html for my template for example...if you want it. And have a look at shipscript on the web. He has a lot of resources there free ... for sellers. Thats where I have always scadged my templates from....jillywinkle
