help needed to install a game
My friend bought a pc game called Air Conflicts Secret Wars.

Wheh he tries to run it he gets an error message  "Can't initialise D3D device

He has Vista and Nvidea Geforce 9300 GE graphics card  We tried to update drivers for the video card but it tells us the drivers are up to date

Would anyone here be able to give simple instructions on how to fix this please?

Thanks
Ellen

Sounds like you need to instal DirectX in order to play it , just Google for it or

 It might need a patch
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars v1.04 Patch.

Will try that, do I just have to download and install it?  never used a patch before so no idea what to do with it.

Editing to say the game is now working, the patch was what was needed.

Thanks for your help isabella
