Good morning everyone - i am doing a survey on phones - who can assist
Hey everyone, i have just started to sell here on quicksales.

My other outside selling avenues have been better than i thought they would be and my investment has definately been worthwhile.

Now as i am only a student i would like to extend my range of products but my mum has given the advice of invest wisely, always do research so this is why i am here

ok my questions are

1. do you already own a phone - what type of phone do you
have
2. if you were going to buy a new phone - what would you buy

your help or thoughts would be really appreciated.

Yes I already have one, I have a cheap samsung because my toddler broke my iphone 4, I want a new phone again, don't care what brand as long as it's for optus and looks pretty, preferably internet access, touch screen or seperate alphabet letter keyboard is my favorite.

I have 2 , due for another in Feb , but I would never consider buying a phone on an auction site .

My new one will probably be a Samsung Galaxy S II

hi and thankyou Issabella.
No i agreee with you there. i would personally never buy a phone on an auction site either.

but my aim of this is to find out what the latest rage is in phones atm not only for teens but for adults, business people etc etc this is why i am doing this survey - most of my friends that are into i phones and samsung galaxies.
i just want to spend my profits wisely and do some investigating first

Good for you , also maybe consider that it's not just what is popular . Some things are popular but way oversupplied so you'd be competing against a lot of other suppliers rather then maybe having something more unique .

If the market can handle it and supply and demand is there enough to be viable then go for a short term hit , don't overstock .

I have an "old peoples phone as my daughter calls it.
An LG flip phone with large numbers that I don't need glasses to see.  Has a large screen with the time on the back.
The inside screen is also large and has adjustable speaker.

It does all the basics of a phone - send, receive calls and texts.  Has a camera which I don't use and a couple of other things I have forgotten what they are for.  It is a pay as you go.  If I needed a new phone it has to have the above and nothing more but in the present world of technology it is becoming hard to find.

I also agree with others not an item I would buy online not even from a phone dealer.

I also wonder about at lot of people who are constantly staring at the small screen of their iphones or similar, reading e-books, playing games or searching the internet etc what will their eye sight be like in a few years time.

I have the samsung galaxy S and I am really happy with it although the choice of covers has been quite limited.  I will look at the Galaxy SII as I hear really good things about that too.

I have the new iphone 4s. I love love love it lol. I had an old iphone that my daughter handed down to me before that. I have always had nokia phones up until 3months ago. Would never go back to the old phones now.

Hubby was still using a nokia 3315 up to a week ago when it broke. so he now uses my new (old) nokia 6230 I think it is. I had just bought it when my daughter gave me the old iphone.
The 3315 is very basic, and suits his big clumsy fingers. He a bit struggles with the buttons on the 6230 but is getting used to it.
So if was going to buy a new phone it would be the iphone 4s...but optus gave me one for free lol so I didnt need to buy it!!

good luck with the research..invest wisely...phone accessories can be good investments tho. I wanted a particular type of case for my new iphone...had a lot of trouble getting one online...from a reputable member, so ended up getting one from a B&M shop.  That was annoying, as I had to pay a lot more!
