How much does it cost to get in to this sport?

Thanks for your enquiry.

The annual costs to dragon boat are:

Registration with the State Association (DragonBoat SA) - $133.00
Club registration - $80

There is also a $5.00 entry fee on race days should you wish to compete (there are 9 race days per season).

If you wish to compete in State Championships it is $10 per day (they run over 2 days).

Entry fees for Australian Championships are $40-45 per day (over 4-5 days) - the Club normally pays this cost for each participant.

In addition, we like each member to purchase a race top and training top which are $40 each.  There is other merchandise that can be purchases such as caps, tracksuits etc. but that's up to each individuals needs.  Oh, and if you wish you can buy your own paddle, but if not then the Club provides those.

I think I've covered everything.

Cheers for now
