 german, sometimes people miss seeing the announcements by admin and some of us post them in the forums so that they are more visible.  I'm sure that is what DB was doing, just trying to help.

Thanks, DB. 

A few weeks ago, the Announcements became incompatible with IE7 (for me anyway) and I can no longer open them.
I could use Firefox but to open another browser just for the Announcements is too much hassle.
Same goes for downloading IE9 which might be compatible - dunno.
So I appreciate members who C & P them into the forum.

Sorry german, it was just as boo said. Sometimes I don't see the announcements either and appreciate if someone posts them so I can see.  I was just putting my computer to bed when I saw the announcement, so thought I'd share.

I appreciate the announcements being copied and put in the forums. 
I would never see them as I come on the computer read the forums, check last minute sales, read emails ect. and sign out.

Me too and it's usually obvious enough they are qs Notices .

It's about the only place I hardly ever look and I don't get notifications so I appreciate the time taken

How do people find new forum posts, because if you click on community to see the list of latest forum posts, the announcements are at the top of the page, just above it.

The announcements are on your Summary page so every time you sign in they're staring you in the face.

My Buying
My Selling
Announcements

All on the left side of the page under My Summary.

The announcements are on your Summary page so every time you sign in they're staring you in the face.

Not really. On my computer, at least, I would have to scroll down to see them. I only look at the My Emails tab, then click on My Selling.
